My amazing sister over at GlorifyChristblog tagged me for “The Get To Know Me Tag: Writer’s Edition.” Thank you so much sis! If you don’t really know what a blog tag is, you’ll find out in just a little while.

Nickname: I had a nickname in the 10th grade, but let’s not go there!
Birthday: September 12
Eye color: Chocolate brown
Braces/piercings/tattoos: I don’t have any of these! Braces are cool, I’m too scared to get my ears pierced, and I don’t believe in getting tattoos!
Righty or Lefty: I’m kind of both! I write and eat with my right hand but I’ve come to realize that I worship with my left!
Novel Written: I have never written a novel, but I don’t think that it would be hard for me to do. I get ideas for stories all the time!
Novel Complete: None.
Award for writing: None yet!
Publication: Does WordPress count?
Conference: If it’s a writing conference, then no. If it’s a Christian conference, then yes.
Novel (that you wrote): None
Genre: Historical fiction, Christian Living, and children’s fiction
Authors: Jaquelle Crowe, Caleb Eckerd, Amy Jo-Girardier, and Rachel Renee Russell
Writing music: Any kind of worship music (because I write about Christian stuff so…) or any Christian song that has a lot of acoustics
Time to write: Late morning to about early afternoon
Writing Snack/Drink: This is kind of tricky because I am a total foodie! I drink a lot of water when I write but in the colder months, I have to have a big mug of hot cocoa with the works. When I write, I like to eat what I call my “Brownie Supreme Dessert” (which is a big piece of walnut brownie, topped with a perfect scoop of vanilla ice cream, with whipped cream and drizzled with chocolate or caramel sauce).
Childhood Books: Amelia Bedelia, Sugar Plum Ballerinas, Dork Diaries, and the Candy Apple Books Series
Currently Reading: This Changes Everything: How the Gospel Transforms the Teen Years by Jaquelle Crowe (highly recommended!), and Faithful One by Amy Jo-Girardier
Writing: Just blogging at this point!
Listening to: Jonny Diaz, Josh Wilson, Leanna Crawford, and Youngheart (Christian band)
Want to be published? Definitely, yes! I would love to publish a Christian book for girls on how to live as a Christian in a secular world. Oh yeah!
Indie or Traditional? Traditional all the way!
Wildest goal? To open up my own Cafe! I have so many ideas for that!
